Bloodfeathers

  • Oct. 15th, 2009 at 1:48 PM

Apparently my love Zack, a friend Zach, and some random guy named Sean (Shawn?), myself, and maybe a couple others are going to start a band.

On top of that my friend TK who's a piano teacher is going to give me free piano lessons!

And I'm pretty sure I just rocked my Genetics exam!

Today

  • Oct. 12th, 2009 at 6:10 PM

I didn't go to work and I slept for a freakishly long period of time.
Now I am waiting for Zack to wake up from his nap so we can eat and see Zombieland!

Oh, Turdle. He's in class right nao.

to pass the time....

  • Sep. 24th, 2009 at 11:24 AM

I feel so boring. All I do with my time is sleep or lurk on the internet for films unknown to most. I don't have a camera anymore, but that will be changing in the next week or two when I get this baby!:

Other than that..............
I sit, I wait.

Long, boring survey )

Do you have a flickr?

As for an update... I don't really have one. All I've done is work all summer and I love it and hate it at the same time. Working with animals is fun, but it's not always fun and games. I work 40 hour weeks so I have no life. ahh.....

But I always have The Cure to cheer me up.

My life has been so hectic and stressful lately. I have more responsibility as a 20-year-old than I think some people will have in their whole life.
I don't even want to elaborate on anything because thinking about it will make my brain hurt.

Responsibility

Tomorrow my friends and I are signing a year-long lease on this house:

I'm very excited. And very nervous.. since I've never had my name on a lease before.

As for home, I've cleaned and painted and fixed-up every time I visit. I started hanging up old family photos around the house and mom and Tyler love it. They said it makes it seem more home-y. I agree.

I've decided that over the summer I will become a flight attendant!

LOST

  • Apr. 1st, 2009 at 10:45 AM

It has taken over my life. No, I'm not even kidding a little bit.
Zack downloaded every season and since I'd never watched it before we started at Season 1, episode 1. That was a few weeks ago... a month, tops. Each episode is 1 hour long and we are now on Season 3, Episode... 12? 14? I don't know.
To be honest, I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have this show to occupy my time and mind lately, everything has been way too stressful to handle.

Watch Lost.

Lazy Sundays

  • Mar. 1st, 2009 at 8:23 PM

I get so antsy when I don't work out.
I just sat downstairs for about... 5 hours? and watched Lifetime movie after Lifetime movie. I just can't help that they're so addicting!

I have to pee, I haven't showered, and I feel like jumping out of my own skin I'm so bored from just sitting.

Besides all of that, I've had a surprisingly nice day. =)

It seems like eons have passed since I've last updated.

Here's a few significant things that have happened:
I made $100 semi-illegally. I think.
The weather was nice for once.
Zack and I wrote music.
I took my car for its first wash.
My father got married.
Zack turned 23 AND had his Dental School Admissions Interview.
I refused to take Radiohead out of my car's cd player.
yadda yadda yadda....

Here are a million pictures )

On another note:
My birthday is on Wednesday. I wish I were more excited... I suppose I would be if I had more to look forward to than working all day, then going to class, then working again at night. Bleh. 20 isn't that exciting anyway. Right?

Fitter, Happier!

  • Feb. 7th, 2009 at 2:25 PM

Fitter, happier, more productive, comfortable, not drinking too much
Regular exercise at the gym, 3 days a week
Getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries at ease
Eating well, no more microwave dinners and saturated fats
A patient, better driver, a safer car, baby smiling in back seat
Sleeping well, no bad dreams, no paranoia
Careful to all animals, never washing spiders down the plughole
Keep in contact with old friends, enjoy a drink now and then
Will frequently check credit at moral bank, hole in wall
Favors for favors, fond but not in love
Charity standing orders on sundays, ring road supermarket
No killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants
Car wash, also on sundays, no longer afraid of the dark or midday shadows
Nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate, nothing so childish
At a better pace, slower and more calculated, no chance of escape
Now self-employed, concerned, but powerless
An empowered and informed member of society, pragmatism not idealism
Will not cry in public, less chance of illness, tires that grip in the wet
Shot of baby strapped in back seat, a good memory, still cries at a good film
Still kisses with saliva, no longer empty and frantic like a cat tied to a stick
Thats driven into frozen winter shit, the ability to laugh at weakness
Calm, fitter, healthier, and more productive, a pig in a cage on antibiotics
